Arbitrator & ADR Practise:

Sander practises as a Chartered Arbitrator from offices in Toronto and Montreal , hearing cases in English and French in entertainment industry and commercial - corporate matters.  Sander provides other dispute resolution and risk management services, working with the parties and their counsel, both to design appropriate hybrid methods for the resolution of their particular dispute and as a mediator-facilitator (known as "deal mediation") to help them overcome deal negotiation hurdles so that they conclude new agreements and potentially establish new business relationships.

Sander is an arbitrator for the Independent Film & Television Alliance of Los Angeles (formerly, AFMA), and has been appointed as a Mediator and Arbitor on the Film and Media Panel of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO - Geneva). He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (United Kingdom). Sander has been granted Chartered Arbitrator designation by the ADR Institute of Canada, Inc. ("ADRIC"), and was appointed to its National Roster of Chartered Arbitrators for American Express credit card disputes as well as to its National Roster of Mediators and Arbitrators for compensation disputes of an international accounting firm, both for standard two (2) year terms.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of the ADR Institute of Ontario, Inc. ("ADRIO"), is a member of its Chartered Arbitrator Committee, which advises ADRIC as to granting Chartered Arbitrator status to applicants, and is Chair of ADRIO's Complaints and Discipline Committee and its By-Laws Committee. Sander is a member of the Dispute Resolution Section of the American Bar Association.

The Superior Court of Quebec upheld a lengthy arbitral award which Sander rendered in 2006, which judgment has been upheld by the Quebec Court of Appeal. See:
